Insurance coverage? |
I live in Tulsa where all the trees came crashing down everywhere. My service line is ripped off and there are trees all on top of my roof, deck, fence. The insurance agents can't come out until next week so I had some friends with chainsaws come over and we got to work. In addition electricians are so booked, but I have a friend who will do everything excpet actually re-connect the line for me. I want to give them some money for their time and labor since this is covered by insurance. But I'm I being dumb by doing this work myself? Will insurance pay anything for your time and labor if we do it ourselves? I'm so past my deductible so it really doen'st matter at this point. I took many pictures and clearly documented everything. I would just hate to call into work, and do so much labor if they don't count that since we don't have a business receipt. Yes, they will pay for YOUR labor, especially for debris removal. depending on the insurance company but some will just cut a check for the damages and it is up to you to fix it |
