Do workers comp employees work for the devil?

I mean they are the scum of the earth and basically get paid to make people who are already suffering, suffer more. Do you think satan has a spot just for them when they die?

You can definitely say that!

I take it you mean insurance company workers compensation employees (i.e. adjusters).

Well the facts are the insurance company adjuster has no choice but to follow the workers compensation law in your State. That law sets the benefit level - not the adjuster.

Perhaps, if you think about it, your beef is with your elected State representatives.

It sounds like you have had a disagreement with these folks.

Ok so your adjuster is a jerk. Just because one is a jerk doesn't mean every other adjuster who does this are scum of the earth.
Have you thought about this from our view?
I'm a nice guy, but when somebody swears at me, yells on the top of their lungs and all that how does that feel? I'm sure you wouldn't like to be treated that way either. I've worked with a lot of claimant's who are not like this at all. Some adjusters choose to pick fights with the claimants, others try to help the claimant, but can only do so much that the state allows. If there is evidence that suggest that the person can go back to work than we have to go based on that evidence.
Some adjusters are jerks, and they don't know the meaning of treating others like you want to be treated.

Some claimant's have made death treats to me and other co-workers. Some offices have FBI agents at times guarding a door after somebody told them that they where going to kill them now. So who works for the devil in this case?

Remember they got about 100+ claims to work with, and they constantly get yelled at a lot. So they maybe think the claimant's work for the devil.

We're doing a job, protect the interest of the insured, and the claimant, and doing what is right.

Call the supervisor, there is no reason the checks should be late because the adjuster is on vacation. That's stupid work by the adjuster. Thats not fair. I went on vacation and did all the pay ahead of time than went on vacation. That's just a very bad adjuster.

Workers comp are the devil encarnate, As god theoretically has angels, the devil theoretically has helpers
They spend their time working for the Workers comp and the loan dept's of lending institutions.

Don't beat around the bush...what are you trying to say?

yeah and the Insurance Commisioner is Lucifer himself !

Insurance claims is HARD. It's rotten work, you deal with people who are always mad. In some lines - like workers comp or auto theft, you can be SURE that about 30% of the claimants are lying to you - you just can't be sure which 30%.

It turns adjusters very cynical.

Additionally, adjusters have really large caseloads. You need to basically work 50 - 60 hour weeks - no overtime, keep in mind, because you're salaried - to just barely keep up with the caseload. The phone never stops, and people constantly are yelling at you.

You couldn't pay me enough to do workers comp claims. Honest. I wouldn't do it for six figures.
