I'm thinking of switching our house insurance and want to know what is sentinel silver?

No idea, you'll have to ask the agent.

There are several Sentinel Insurance companies. Not sure which one this is. LIkely, it's a level of coverage, on one of their homeowners policies.

But you'll need a Sentinel agent to explain exactly what it is.

Looks like a homeowners policy offered bt the Hartford with a 300,000 liability coverage in replacement cost coverage instead of depreciated value on your belongings.

"Sentinel Silver: - Our most popular package, Sentinel Silver is for those seeking strong value and services. When added to your basic policy, our Silver package includes replacement cost coverage for dwelling and contents, with an additional $300,000 of liability coverage and refrigerated food spoilage coverage.'

The important question is what perils are covered. Are they named perils only, or is it open peril with exclusions?
