I got a quote on line through gieco. how do you know what the initial payment will be ?

they give you your monly, and then your yearly. Is the first payment higher than the monly quote.

Well, you ask your agent. WAit, no, you ARE your agent with Geico.

You have to ask them. Your first payment should be at least two months worth.

Typically they'll want 16-25% as an initial payment, unless they have you figured on a monthly payment and using bank draft and take money out of your bank account monthly for 12 months.......

Why buy on line or at an 800 number? Didn't you try a local independent insurance agent?

Good luck and I hope this helps!
