Do i get money bk from funeral expens as well as from policy on life insurance?

im not sure how it works. do we submit all the bills and get it all back separately from the policy amount.

No, you do not submit all the bills and get it all back separately from the policy amount.

A funeral expense insurance policy provides a death benefit, which is the face amount, or coverage listed on the policy.

This face amount of insurance is paid to the beneficiary of the policy when the insured person dies.

The death benefit is usually paid free of federal income tax.

The beneficiary of the life insurance proceeds may use the insurance benefits for any purpose; however, the coverage is called funeral expense insurance necause it provides enough money, usually, to pay for all funeral expenses if chosen to do so. It also provides for easy purchase of the policy with no medical exams required.

I hope that helps! Best of luck to you.

no. a life insurance policy pays the face amount minus any outstanding loans upon receipt of a certified death certificate. the death benefit is paid directly to the named beneficiary unless they have assigned it to another party such as a funeral home.

No, the funeral expenses aren't a "claim". The life insurance policy pays out the face amount, to whomever is named beneficiary. That person doesn't HAVE to spend the money on funeral expenses if they don't want to.
