Without prejudice to any provisions in the terms and conditions.?

Without prejudice to any provisions in the terms and conditions.?

You didn't ask a question. I assume you are wondering that this statement means. Most likely you received a reservation of rights letter. Basically what your insurance company is telling you is that some or all of the claim might not be covered. The insurance company is investigating to determine what duties it owes you.

This investigation is being made, "without prejudice to any provisions in the terms and conditions" of the policy. In other words, just because the insurance company is investigating the claim does not mean there is coverage for the claim.

The company still wants to rely on the terms and conditions (what the policy says is and is not covered) of the policy, and does not want to be prejudiced (harmed) by its investigation. Basically this letter will prevent you form claiming that gee, since you investigated the claim I assumed it was covered.
