What kind of auto insurance would cover me?...?

I just bought a new vehicle (truck) but I have not had insurance coverage in the past 90 days. Just being careless...but I know alot of insurance companies won't accept me for that. Does anyone know of insurance companies who will? I would like to start having continuous coverage

I live in Austin, Texas. I know I would probably have to pay more but I don't mind as long as I will be covered.

Sure, Progressive, Geico, Leader Infinity, Windsor and your state assigned risk pool. Go talk to a local, independent agent. They'll set you up with insurance.

Shop around.

Allstate, State Farm, Shelter, Geico, or better yet call an independent agent (Yellow Page) who is a broker for many insurance companies.

Actually insurance carriers will cover you. If you like I can give you a quote? Do you live in California? If not I can recommend a place to go.

My father and I own a Insurance Company so I can help.

You can also email me at my work email at brent.jack@brookeagency.com.

Hi Lorena,

You can obtain quotes on-line very easily now from a variety of companies. Many will ask if you have recently been in a lapse. In some cases it won't make much difference if you've been in a lapse for 90 days and in others it will. It is very important you shop around. Rates and underwriting guidelines vary significantly by company.

Try
www.geico.com
www.progressive.com
www.esurance.com

that list will get you started, but there are many other carriers out there. For the first several renewals you may want to continue to shop for a better rate until you find a company that you feel provides good value for the money.

P.S. When shopping for coverage the particulars vary by state but typically you will want Liability Coverage that covers other people and their property if you are responsible for the injuries or damage and you will want to carry comprehensive and collision, which insure against damage to your own vehicle. Other coverages are available such as medical payments to cover your own injuries and insured motorists coverage to cover your injuries and work loss in the event you are injured by someone who has no insurance and is responsible for the accident.

Congratulations on your new truck and good luck.

i dont know where you live but i have never heard of an insurance company not wanting to insure an auto because you didnt have insurance for 90 days. what if you didnt own a car for 90 days? call an independent agent and get yourself some quotes to find the best deal

I've never had any problem getting car insurance after a period with no coverage. Just do the usual shopping around and you should have no problem. Get more information at http://insurancetipsguide.com/

Typically, insurance rates are filed by the various insurance companies that are licensed to do business in your State, and they vary from State to State.

The best thing to do is call a LOCAL independent agent. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be able to help you solve your insurance problems.

An independent insurance agent will normally have a dozen different companies and if he cannot help you, he should be networked with other local agents that can.

Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!

Under your circumstance,I suggest here for you to have a visit.http://insurance.online-assistant.info/c...
