To check your PF balance,

Ask your employer to give you the account number of your PF
you can do this by directly asking him(kind of rude and sensitive)
or you can say that you need to have a PAN card and need PF details.

You will then be provided with account no of your PF.
get the PF account no and approach PF office, located somewhere in bandra-East (If you are in mumbai)
and you will get what you want.

First u get the PF number from ur office and go and check ur balance in PF office

In order to check your balance of PF Account following points are given
1. According to law under section, it is certify that you can check your balance in PF account once in two months by given a written application to your HR department.

2. Then it becomes mendatory for employer to show her / his passbook within 48hours of written application.

3. If he don't show you within 48hours then you can do complaint against him.

Your PF a/c no. will be usually printed in ur salary slip or check HR dept for the same. Once you have PF no. u can visit PF office(where your contributions are remitted) and ask for the detials. Your can check in the Regional Office also.

Every year you are suppose to receive a annual statement in Form - 23 enquire your HR for the same.

Online statement facility(NSSN) may not be available in all cities
