Won't socialized health insurance lead to another inflated gov't program? |
Won't socialized health insurance lead to another inflated gov't program? yes. can you say Medicare or Medicaid or Veterans Administration? Of course it will. Government run programs are the most expensive way to get the worst service. Not if it is run right. Of course, judging by the way the U.S. handles other socialized programs like public schools, Medicare, the VA to name a few, I doubt that it would be. I don't think there will ever be a clear answer to your question, i.e. including the U.S. I think we should have better regulations on private health care in this country. But you have to also look at the big insurance companies in this country who lobby heavily on Capitol Hill. This helps them because they usually get what they want. Please don't forget about Middle Class America which suffers also. They pay out a lot also. It costs a lot in this country to get sick. |
