Does your checking account balance effect your SS disability payments? |
because we recently had a family member wire transfer X amount of dollars into my checking account to help with some bills and it seems like everybody got their SSI today except me? is it just late mail or what? No. SSDI is NOT dependent on assets. Only Medicare is. mail is prob just late, don't worry about it. No, one has nothing to do with the other. The office of SS doesn't know what's in your checking account. Sheesh! not at all i actually had the same question a few months ago. the only thing that will discount ur SSI is if u owe the government money. it may take a while because the gov has to check to make sure u don't owe them one penny. |
