I witnessed a slip and fall..?

will the witness of a slip and fall be compensated? i feel as though i am going out of my way for the victims lawyers and they constantly call. but if she wins because of my account of the event will i be compensated?

Tell the scumbag lawyers you have already told them everything.
They will not want to antagonize you, because if they subpoena you to court, you might turn into a hostile witness, or get very forgetful. They probably won't pay you anything but your expenses.

You should have asked those questions before all of this with the lawyers started. You're going to have to let it be known that you no longer have the time to be involved without some compensation on their part.

At most you'd be compensated for your expenses is testifying. Often slip and fall cases are settled without going to a court trial.

WOW! Maybe if you're lucky, the victim fractured his skull and is paralyzed for life. then there might be a huge settlement, and they'll be nice to you for going through all your trouble.
You get a couple dollars, the lawyer gets his fee and the victim sets screwed.

You cannot participate in someone else's personal injury claim just because you are a witness. I have seen extremely limited circumstances where they compensate for loss wages if your appearance results in such however; extremely... extremely limited occasions.
