Hi! I m moving to Indianapolis soon, and want to find job! Your recomendation 4 good & well paid job! Thanks!

Hi!

I m coming to Indianapolis. Need a job! What can be found & how much it is paid per hour? I will study too, but I need day job, full time will b perfect....Some friends from another states recommend me pharmacy technician jobs, as good jobs & good paid...does anyone knows something about it? What more can be option (someone here mentioned and UPS jobs)...what more can be found in Indianapolis.....I m interesting in administrative jobs too..... Any suggestion is more then welcome...this town is completely new for me, so don't have any idea about unemployment and employment opportunities....And together with this question, can u answer me about expenses of life in Indianapolis, or to make a list with money expenses per month - just in case to know with what amount of money I must count to live in there?

Thank you very much and hope that people from Indianapolis will share their experience with me!

I am not sure about what kind of job to recommend because I don't know what your skills are, BUT I will say that there a lot of call centers here, so that might be a good place to start. The pay and benefits are usually pretty decent at most of the call centers. Off the top of my head, the call centers I can think of around here are RCI, Bluegreen, Golden Rule, WellPoint, AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast.

Indy is probably mid-range in terms of how expensive it is to live here. The north side and downtown will be the most expensive. The south side and west side are in the middle, and the east side is probably the least expensive but also tends to have a higher crime rate. Just to give you some ideas of what things cost on the west side, where I live:

1-bedroom apartment: $400 - $600
digital cable: $100 (for ATT U-verse, $130 if you have to get crappy Comcast)
electricity: $50 - $100 per month for an all-electric apartment, less if you have gas
gallon of gas: $3.09 at the moment
groceries: my boyfriend and I get by just fine on about $60 a week; I could probably do $40 a week if I lived alone. Kroger and Marsh are the most expensive; Meijer and Wal-mart are the cheapest, but Marsh has the best produce and meat.

Hope that helped!

there is a great telecommunications company that you should probably check out..www.5linx.net/lab. The job outlook is grand-- look under make money or the 5linx opportunity! Hope this helps
