Should Indianapolis change I-465's name to honor David Letterman?

Dave brought this up in 2002, and something reminded me of it tonight.

Dave is Indy's most famous son and he does mention Indy and Indiana quite often. In addition, he donates large amounts to local causes, usually anonymously.

He is, in his own words, Indy's "best ambassador".

Should at least part of 465 be named for him? After all, if Babyface Edmonds rates a stretch of 65 named for him, Dave surely rates at least the same.

I've only been in Indiana once .... If you're that desperate for something new and interesting to happen there which I'm sure you are.. then by all means yes!

This idea has been around for years and Dave himself used to (jokingly?) campaign for it. No one here (Indy) who could actually make it happen, seems to take the idea seriously.
Dave is a great ambassador for Indy but I'd wager others would dispute he's our most famous son. Maybe our CURRENT most famous son.....
