I live and work in Indiana, Comapny claims does not have to give breaks or lunch for an 8 hour shift???? WHAT? |
Is this TRUE???? In Indiana if you work 8 hours, companys in Indiana does not have to give you a break or lunch??? Can anyone help me??? I am Positive federal labor laws do not allow this, provided there are places where machinery must run and therefore be attended 24 hrs a day, but it is the employers responsibility to provide shift changes and or floaters or whatever to fill in the need..walkouts always get their attention contact the department of labor for your state. There should be a # listed in the government pages of your phone book. united states employment rights act is where you should look i know indiana think they have seperate law from the rest of the states ,but i don't know why |
