Greetings all Yahoo Answers participants! The first and third applicants. I would hire two and three. First off number two is convicted for child molestation right well if I'm an employer I'm going to assume I probably don't have any children so I have no worries there. Plus ten years would have most likely solved that problem if not I can always fire him for someone else but since I have no children I think I'm good. I would hire the third because usually there is a reason behind a murder. They're not usually repeated but are a revenge type of thing. Therefore I wouldn't have to worry about being murdered unless I got that person mad. So murder is a one time thing and I have no children. However the first employer was a robber. Now this doesn't seem like such a bad crime right but old habits die hard. I assume this person was robbing for quite awhile before he got caught. Therefore I can't trust him to work in my company without asking myself day and night if he'll steal something important and priceless to me. Even in jail who's to say he didn't steal there to nurse his obsession. So I would say I'd have to make my final conclusion the second and third applicants. I would consider the applicant with the ten year old robbery conviction first, then my second choice would be the applicant with the 10 year old felony murder conviction. Now I will make an attempt to articulate my reasoning, First off I dont know what type of business I am running and that makes some difference possibily. If there is no contact with the public/kids and a lot of contact with large amounts of cash I would consider taking the molester and dumping the robber. I feel that of the two applicants the robber and the murderer they may have had some justifacation as to why they commited the crime, With the molester there would never be any justification for that crime and in my mind that is the worst crime of the three, I also feel that a person that would be capable of molesting would never be trustworthy they are the lowest of low. A Person convicted of robbery may have had circumstances that may him feel stealing was the answer to his problem, or he may have gotten in with the wrong crowd and been in the wrong place at the wrong time. The guy that has the murder rap, He probally will never kill again , and if it was ten years old that meant he didnt do that much time so it was probally not that bad if he his is out now,and the same things apply to him as the robber we dont know why he killed ..........The molester can never be trusted ,his crime was against defensless children, so he would never be someone I would hire , he can never say anything that would make his crimes seem right or understandable .Where the other two applicants may be good people with bad deals that hand. The molester has no excuse . |
