What's your favorite Indy venue for live music?

Please share your thoughts as to where you like to go to see certain genres of music. For example, The Noodle for Blues or The Vogue for Rock.

The Chatterbox , the Noodle and the ArtsGarden are my favorite indoor venues (I haven't been to the Music Mill, yet). For outdoor venues I like the Zoo and the Canal at the History Center.

It really depends on the kind of music you want to hear. You'll get different answers depending on the music tastes of the respondents.

http://www.schlachthof-wiesbaden.de/ is my favorite place to see any genre of music. the people are friendly and its a intimate atmosphere full of artists. i love it. if anyone can ever make it to wiesbaden germany, i highly recomend it.

I personally don't care for the Vogue. The Slippery Noodle is a good one, I also Moe and Johnny's at 5380 N College Ave is a lot of fun!

The Slippery Noodle, I actually know one of the bands that plays there. It's the Lance Cameron band. the lead is a local attorney here in my hometown. Lance Cameron is his alias.......lol, he is an amazing Jazz artist. His daughter is also a singer and very good !!!
