First time in Indianapolis, what must I see or visit before I leave next week?

Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the speedway museum.

Try driving the speedway if you have a car.

It's out in the sticks in the middle of Indiana. That's why they call it " India - no - place".

The zoo!!!!

You've got to go on one of the ghost tours!
They have fantastic tours of downtown Indy and other towns in central Indiana.

The Haunted Indianapolis and Chatham Arch tours are especially good in Indy. They give not only the stories but the history behind the area as well.

Go to the Canal Walk downtown and take the paddle boats on the canal. It's a lot of fun! Check out white river gardens or the Children's Museum, which is huge and fun for adults as well.

I would take a walk downtown and check out the different restaurants and pubs. Nice town to walk and wander around in.
