U can help out ? a grassroots effort!?

Trying to help a single parent find a house/apt in Indy area.

She has a full time job @ star bucks and trying to raising her four children ...they are good and smart kids鈥?

Father abandoned the family back in late spring....in-laws kick her out to the street in late July because she(the mother) couldn鈥檛 pay them their (parent-n-laws) high mortgage/rent which was no problem for the family before their son left.

If you know of any houses or apt. in the Indy aera that are reasoniable price for this sistution please feel free to email me and I鈥檒l pass it on to them鈥?br>

School is starting soon the oldest a 9th grader would like to start high school (BD) right. Please help them find a home! no one wants to be homeless... you can help them...by being their eyes/ears...keep them in your thoughts....

I am not in that city鈥?I am just aware of the situation of this family鈥?I have found many of you are experts at know things...thanks for all the help & insight you can provide.They are on a list for assisted (prorated) living but could take up to or over a year with this size of family. They are in a temporary living situation at this point with elderly family member that has very limited space and can not host them for a year due to constraints in their living arrangements.

Go to www.rent.com and you'll see listings in your area.

She may be able to go to the Township Trustee and get some $$-- -does she belong to a church that can help her? Has she talked to an employer?

Additionally, and I am no expert, she might qualify for rent assistance througyh the state.

As a last ditch effort, call Call 6 for Help-- you might get their attention.

As for house and rent that she might be able to afford, she is most likely going to be thrown into a really bad area and a really bad situation.
