Under the board of labor law, does a person get paid for a mandatory meetin?

My son has been with thuis place for 9 months getting min. wage. Wondering if under the board of labor law if mandatory meeting on your day off should he get paid for it? This is a oil change place.

As long as he is an hourly employee then yes. Or they can give him additional paid time off.

YES!! CHECK UNDER STATE OF INDIANA / GOVERNMENT FOR THIS!!

If he is working for a company and they ask him to come to a company function and it is manditory to do so, then YES, he should be getting paid for it.
