I need to find volunteers for my non profit organization.?

I know about volunteers.com but i need more sources to find volunteer help. Thank you very much for your help.

Check with your local United Way, Job Corps, and youth programs. Also, ask to put announcements in local church bulletins, and check with local Senior Centers. These are just some ways, get the name out there and people will come.

Try your local CraigsList (craigslist.org). They have a section devoted to volunteers.

Post something on Craigslist for your area. Thousands of local people see it and can respond via email or you can post a contact number.

What does your organization do? I own a webshosting site and might be able to help. BTW Indy is a nice place, I've been there a few times on my Holidays ;-)

Try getting the media involved for exposure.

Try your local tv station. If you have a non profit organization for a good cause , your tv station will run public service announcments probably for free.
