What are Indiana marrige regulations?

WANT TO GET MARRIED IN ANGOLA ON SATURDAY -

You can get answers to this here:

Basically you go to your county recorder and get a license-- you best go by Friday if you want to do it on Saturaday. If you are from Indiana it costs $18 for the license. Take your ID with you. Your bride to be has to take a premarital exam if she is under 50.

The official laws are here

resident of Indiana 18 or older, blood tests.

I remember I was married at the courthouse Indy...my first marriage. I only took a blood test I was 32 then.

Hope i helped. Congratulations. !!

you need to get a license. Look on the angola city website and see if it tells where and when you can get one. You then will have to find someone to marry you, a justice of the peace but you will need to find one

The simple answer is that at least one of the marriage partners needs to be a resident of the state. The bride-to-be needs to document an immunity to rubella. (I know because my wife had to get a vaccination since she didn't have any records of her original shot.) I can't remember off-hand the minimum ages, but the couple cannot be more closely related than second cousins. (First cousins may marry if they are both over 65 however.)

That's pretty much it. Also, there's no waiting period after getting a license, which is valid for 30 days. (My wife and I went to the St. Joseph County courthouse and applied for a license, then asked if anyone there could marry us. Honest!)

You need to apply for a marriage certificate in your home county (or your fiance's). And the bride-to-be has to have proof that she has been vaccinated against German Measles--if she doesn't have it, she'll need to get another vaccine and get proof from the doctor (I did).
