I am starting a Thrift store. Can anyone tell me where to get Free or cheap carts or baskets for shopping?

Can onyone tell me where I can get Free or Cheap Carts or baskets for shopping? I am opening a Thrift Store and really need them. Also how about bags to put things in that the customer would buy?

I worked at a thrift store, and the one I worked at didn't even have carts or baskets for shopping, and no one ever complained. The bags we used were ones people donated. The employees would save bags and bring them from home, and customers would so the same, so that worked out pretty good for us. Good luck.

Search the web, or go to Stores and ask if they want to seel them. Most of the time when you Start a buisness companies will send you a Catalog with items such as baskets...

Hi there, by my own experience I get the best deals from stores that are going out of business. I some time also place an a out on craigslist.org to see if someone has any items that I need and that they are willing to barter with me. Don't forget to check their free section while your there. You can even go to your local used fixture store to get a deal on baskets. Sam's Club has the cheapest bags. Good Luck.

do what every thrift store around here does...goto other stores and steal their carts. Let the customers take the carts with them as bags...since it didn't cost you anything to begin with :)
