Is there any law that says,you cant use cell phones at work?

our company just said,new policy says no cell phones on the floor,but management can still have on the floor.shouldnt policy include everyone?

no not necessarily. especially if you work on the "floor" in front of other people. i could understand why your management would not want you talking away or having your cell phone because it looks unprofessional. rules or policys of a speciafic job place are simply that.....just rules your management makes for your job, not everyone elses.

Its called: COMPANY POLICY you signed up to work there, don't complain, if you don't like it, find another job. The difference between management and the workforce is that management has different duties and perks and they may be required by COMPANY POLICY to have a cell phone wherever they go so they can be contacted immediately.

It is their company, they get to make the rules. I suspect they have created this policy because of abuses in the past. To answer your question, no there is not a law. But apparently at your company there is a policy.
