What happens when your found guilty of a first time offence?(siimple assault)?

I was assaulted by my boss at work. We are approaching court in the near future. She has no respect for anyone not even her self. There were six witness at the scene who all stated that she did assault me causing bodily harm. She thinks she is high power and can be threatend by no one. She's even said she GOD while she's in her place of business.(owner) please help me seek some help with this situation if she is found guilty what should I do next? I believe she should be taught a lesson. However there is a huge gap in our ages if I would have so much as pinched her I would be trying to post bond still to this day. I guess the saying is true "It ain't what you know it's who you know."

You haven't said, is this action in civil court (you sued her) or criminal court (she has been charged by the prosecuting/district attorney)? It makes a difference in what will happen.
If it is a criminal proceeding and she is found guilty, she can be sentenced to jail time; if it is her first offense it is she might be given probation (meaning these are the rules, follow them or you go to jail).
If it is a civil proceeding and she is found liable, she could be ordered to pay you for medical bills or other things depending on the laws and limits in your state.

In either case, I would suggest looking for a new job: most probation orders include a no contact with the victim clause. And besides, since she owns the business, it is probably in your best interest to not be somewhere else when everything gets sorted out. No, it's not fair and it's not a good solution, but would you really feel comfortable working their after being assaulted anyway?

She will likely receive probation. What you should now do is find an attorney and sue her in civil court, and understand that there are better jobs out there.
