I lost my pan card. If I apply for new pan do I loose all the history that was present on my old pan card?

I lost my pan card. If I apply for new pan(not dupliate) card do I loose all the history data that was present on my old pan card?. Or all the data that was present on my old pan card will be transferred automatically to my new pan card? Please help.

If you lost you can apply for duplicate pan card you will get same PAN No. so there no problem.

You have to use Income Tax for No. 49B

I presume you dont want to reveakl to IT dept that you have ever held a PAN card and want to obtain PAN card. you must tell IT dept tht you lost the card and give the PAN number that you had so far. They will issue new card. By the way why you dont want to tell the IT about the previous card?
