How can a NGO get a tax exemption certificate in India ?


there is an NGO working for a lobg time now and a is now looking for a tax exemtion certificate, if you could suggest how, you'll not just be helping us but all those who want help the needy people through us...

The departnement of NGOs will provide a cetificate/ forwarding letter. That letter will have to be submitted to IT department.
