I wanna be a docter anything you guys can tell me?

like i wanna know
1. will ihave time for my family
2.is it a job that will pay the bills
3. is there anything i can learn about being a docter when im this age (15)
4. what can my hours be
5. any other things you can tell me would be greatly appreaciated

I can tell you that you will have to do four years of med school, so many years of interning, so many years of residency, and so many years of fellowship. Basic training can take at least 10 years before going out on your own, depending on your specialty.

You will definitely be able to pay your bills, especially the $200,000 to 300,000 in student loan debt.

Your hours will be 24 hours a day. Your patients are your responsibility at all times. If your patient is hospitalized and in need of anything, no matter what time, you will be paged.

Americans are very litigious at this time....any simple mistake you make can destroy your whole life financially. Being a doctor is a huge responsibility now days.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Being a doctor is not a 9-5 job. It takes many years of study, internship, and dedication to become one. There are many different jobs for doctors in medicine.

Study hard, and get good grades in everything. Take as many science and math classes as you can. Begin the application process early.

1.) Learn how to spell DOCTOR.
2.) Take pre-med courses and earn letter grades of "A"
