Why can't U.S. copy Japan Medical System (10 bucks a night in japan hosptal)? |
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story... in japan, their goverment regulate nearly everything in medical cost from drugs to how much patient needs to pay for treatment, therefore almost everyone can afford it, no need for goverement to pay for it, everyone benefit for this but the medical section itself. Should U.S. follow Japan? Japan's system is so called National healthcare insurance system. It is not by private companies. All the people have to enter this system (of course there are some people who cheat or refuse it). The insuarance premium, for most people, is between 13,000 - 18,000 yen (US$ 120-170) per month. If you are married and having Children, the one per person is much cheaper (can be US$60-100 per person). I think US should but its more like they dont want to more than they cant. |
