Do Nurses/Rn's have big egos? |
All I hear is how horrible Rn's treat cna's or anyone working under them and I don't get it, just because you have a degree and your paycheck is higher does not give anyone a reason to disrespect someone. Right now I want to become a cna just to get some experience and I'm really not looking forward to a nurse who will disrespect me you know I will kick *** if I have to. So are there any cna's or rn's out there with some experience with big ego's or will I be fine?. You know honey,no matter what you do...do it for yourself. Make sure this is what you want. If it is..nothing and nobody can get in your way. There are bad apples in every bunch, so be it. YOU just keep your thoughts on the word"ACCOMPLISHMENT"..you ignore the ugly stuff. You are going to be there to learn, and to meet your special goal. You get what you give. I posted this question a while back http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... it should give you a good idea of how some CNAs feel. I am a CNA and yes there are some nurses that do have BIG egos. Most of the time I just ignore them but it does get to ya sometimes too. If you do do CNA work you will figure out quickly who those nurses are and if you like your job well enough, it wont bother you as much. i am an RN in the ICU and i think that CNA's do so much for us and i appreciate everything you guys do, we need you too! |
