Job interview in nursing home?

I have a job interverview in a nursing home. Its been some years since working with elderly (been full time mom) .What questions will they ask me and what answer would be best to give back. Its been a long time any help would be gratfull thankyou

Hi Kezza,
My wife is a nurse of 13 years. She had to work in a nursing home for a few days when she was a new nursing student and now interacts with our local nursing home frequently.
What she has told me is generally nursing homes have trouble finding and keeping good help. I assume you do not have a nursing license. But you are seeking a position such as a C.N.A. or Aid, these type of positions are not considered highly competitive.
So, just be yourself. Don鈥檛 worry about what questions they will ask or what answers you think they want to hear. They want someone who is kind, caring and dependable. If you are that type of person than you have nothing to worry about! The problem is not getting the job, its enjoying helping others and continuing to do a good job once you have it!
Good luck,
Jim J
