Maternity Ward Nurse? |
What exactly do they do?? I am considering this job. Can you be JUST a nurse that works in that area? What is the title? You have to go to nursing school first. yes, you can do just that type of nursing, but I will say that of all the nursing jobs in the hospital I work at, and I a ma pre nursing student myself, that maternity nursing would be the most BORING department to work in. you do practically nothing. I personally would never do it, I need to have more action and unpredictability, ER is where I want to work... |

A nurse is required by law to be licensed in the state that they practice. In every state, there is a board of nursing that deals with this, ex: Michigan board of Nursing. You should be able to get... yes, just research which type of medical degree you want to invest your time into...RN, BSN, LVN, Practioner, MD, Pediatrician, Chiropractor, medical asistant, dental asst.. or maybe research, labo... I know somebody who took a course like that and its worth it because it'll be easier to get a job in that field. Knowledge is power, it can only look good on a resume.
