Any tips during nursing school? |
So I'm about to finish my first year in nursing school and i have one more semester until i start clinicals. For those of you that have made it through what was the hardest part? also do you have any tips? The hardest part was just getting everything done. But, just take in as much information as you can when preparing for clinical days. Know everything there is to know about your patient and their condition, meds, etc. I know it sounds very elementary but you wouldn't believe the nursing students I would see come to clinical unprepared. dont faint when u see blood or throw up You just have to work really hard to keep up. Once you start your clinicals, you will be very busy, as they usually take up two full days. And then there are your other courses. If you have a roomate who is in liberal arts, you will find that he or she has much more free time than you do. |
