Is there some type of tool, something brief and quick that would allow you to know if nursing is for you?

Yes I got inspired only by visting a loved one at the hospital and seeing nurses sitting at the nursing station. Basically I would like to know ifthere is some in a nutshell type tool that would allow you to determine if that career is something you would like. Now please don't suggest general career evaluations as those take hours to complete. Just want something focusing on nursing.

you need to ask yourself some questions:
-can i stand seeing dying/dead people? and touch them?
-am i willing to work during graveyard shifts?
-can i stand seeing blood, intestines, amputations and other operation procedures?
- am i a judgemental type of person? am i willing to cure and care for people i don't like? different races and religions?
-am i alert and always thinking all the time?
-do i have high morals? with regard to cruel patient's lives
-am i not easily hurt by cruel remarks or doctors and patients?
-am i willing to skip meals sometimes?
-am i willing to extend my work hours if necessary?
-am i a quick learner?
-am i interested in studying about diseases and drugs and latest medical trends all through out my life?
-am i sincere in prolonging and caring for the one life my patients have as if it were my own?
- am i willing to expose myself to diseases and a possibility of being a carrier?
-am i aggressive in curing my patients?
-am i competent and willing to learn different things all the time?
-am i willing to be ordered around?
-am i a team player?
-am i careless to details?
-am i book smart ?can i also perform different clinical procedures?
-am i focused? do i have a sharp memory?
-am i unbelievably patient? am i kind and caring?
-do i have common sense and high IQ?
-do i have the initiative to do things even if it is not ordered?
-do i respect people's confidentiality regarding their illness may it be STD etc.?even if they are acquaintances?
-am i emotional?(because you should not be)
THESE ARE JUST SOME QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF..... THEN DECIDE......

Close you eyes. Do you see yourself doing the following?

Cleaning bedpans of sick people, including doing fleet enemas.
Cleaning vomit over some drunken guy who came to the ER.
Blood, blood everywhere: in your scrub suit, shoes, hair, etc.
Caring for the old, dying and the sick.
