I am a missionary usually travel to Mexico. I see so much need with people who can not pay for medical treatments. I was thinking of pursuing a career in medicine but I think I am too old to begin. I am 28 years old. Is it faster to become a doctor in Mexico or in the U.S. ? also, I have no experience in the medical field. just translating for American doctors. check out this link, hope it answers your question A friend of mine attended medical school in Mexico run by American doctors. He says it is a four-year program. I don't know about length of time for interning in Mexico. Entering medical school in the U.S. is extremely difficult. You can go to medical school in Mexico or the Carribean and take the exam to practice in the United States. |
