Does your job have any useless "perks"?

my brother works at walkers crisps and while hes at work he can eat crisps till he`s sick, but he cant take any home for his kids!!

I worked for a shoe company that made old peoples shoes - real nasty comfort ones, grey mans slip-ons etc. I was allowed a 50% discount for my own use, (I am 25!)

that's nuts! my last job had no perks at all!

No both my P/T jobs are full of proper perks.
Pretty flexible both of them and both are in different ways theraputic. I choose to do whatever I like in this life of mine, as it should be. In fact I could start off to work in a few minutes or sometime after dinner, wonderful.
Thumbs down if you are jealous if you like. The expression I am thinking of is "Fill your boots!"
LOL

No perks ever.

Hello. When I worked in a restaurant, they gave us 20% meal discount cards. I thought that kind of useless. I was the actual cook, and nothing was going to stop you from just making your own meal since you were at the grill anyway. Besides, the last place I would be interested eating at would be the one I had to work in! Not very appetizing when you stare at the same food all day long, is it?
Companies do this to employees to make them think there is some kind of wonderful bonus to their minimum wage employment. Keep in mind with any minimum wage job-the management is trying to save money.
