What's a good job for a teen aged girl to pursue? without wasting time in asking like this questions do some online job which will suit your need . waitress, retail stores, salon receptionist lifeguarding. You get some respect instead of being treated like crap from managers - makes for a much less stressful work environment. You get to sit around and get a tan all day, you're not totally exhausted after working an 8 hr shift, pay is above minimum wage, yu can easily get water safety instructor certified (wsi) and teach swim lessons to kids before or after work, that makes a lot of extra money, usually 20-30 dollars per half hour. You can work at indoor pools during winter, I worked at the pool lifeguarding at my college. You do have to get lifeguard and CPR certified first, at a class but it's well worth the benefits. Working at small neighborhood pools is the best because their are nice families that treat you well, and kids are respectful. |
