Working at papa johns as a delivery girl? |
I just got hired at Papa Johns and have my NTO on Monday. They didn't even give me an interview because they really needed a driver. What are the benefits for working here? If they are in such a need for a driver, what do you think the hours are - just asking if they needed someone fast and you got the job how many hours they actually gave you. Do they really care if you have fake nails on? I just got mine done yesterday and I hope I don't have to take them off! Do people tend to get more hours in the summer? Do you get free pizza any time you want? Do the delivery people have to wear the same uniform? I have a gps and a car with little mileage so I think I am set for that! How much tips do people usually get on a regular night? I know everywhere is different, but maybe an average or so. Do you get tips that night or with your paycheck? I have never had a job that had tips. Also, what's it like working there or as a delivery person in general? Ok, lots of questions here. You do get free pizza, but mainly just the pizzas that people don't pick up or pizzas that were made wrong. Hours vary depending on how busy you are. You will work every weekend, and you will want to work every weekend because that is when you make the most money. Summer hours tend to be longer because you don't get busy until after the sun goes down. In the winter you may come in at 5:00 and leave at 9:00 but in the summer you will probably work til 11:00pm. You don't have a set time that you go home, just when the orders stop coming. The store that I work at is not very strict on dress code, but we are independently owned. Just be careful as there are a lot of strange people out there looking for a way to get the money Pizza drivers are carrying. I got robbed twice doing that... Once I was beat unconscious and needed stitches in the head, the second time I had a g_n. Working as a pizza delivery driver really sucks,,,,,I feel sorry for you. Is there a limit on how many questions you can ask in one posting? Remember that the reward here is 2 Yahoo! Answers points, with a possible 10 point bonus. |
