If you apply for a restaurant job online, should you go talk to the manager if you don't receive any response? |
i'm not sure how often they ever look at the applications online in the first place. would it be better to just wait a little, then go in and fill one out on paper and ask to see the manager? I would be cautious about going in to speak with a manager in person directly over an online application. Most likely those online postings are done via a recruiter, even if it is in-house. So there will be a filtering process before the Manager at the particular place gets a look - if at all. Some of those are corporate decisions, not the local management. It depends on how long ago you posted the app. |
