What's the best advice you got about credit cards? |
What's the best advice you got about credit cards? Pay if off all and on time. Yes many people will had bad credit score because of abuse credit card like keep transfer balance from one card to other, and took 4ever to pay it off the statemetn which has high interest rate. Credit Card actualyl is good if you know how to use it cause it gave you extra protection when purchased unlke cash or debit card is hard to retreive back when someone stole it and use it. Also credit card usually has benefit like cash back etc.. DONT GET ONE DON'T! DONT ever use one. Stay away from them Only use them when absolutely necessary. I was advised by my dad not to get one get. I got one and regret it dont get one Have one for emergencies and just say no to all the others. Debt is another form of captivity and keeps you from enjoying life and pursuing your own personal goals. Be smart about them. If you want to get something that is big because you don't have the money then just wait. Or get a loan. If you want one for emergencies and plan to pay it off ASAP... then you will be fine... otherwise DON'T GET ONE!!!! Pro: Spending money thats not yours and good for 'those sticky times' to just pay cash cause if you can't buy it with cash you don't need it just put it in Lawanda way it is payed for and you don't have to worry about all those intrests charges The best advice I ever got was to always keep all credit card balances under half of the card's limit. The higher your balances are on your card/s, the more it will negatively impact your credit - especially if you are going to be appying for any type of loan. get one for emergency's, or booking travel. never charge more than you can pay off in one or two months. make sure you under stand how to dispute an unauthorized charge. I like Capital Ones card because they have a no hassle guarantee. find the lowest interest rate possible & keep the limit down $500 to $2,500, It's based on your income. so you don't have a large amount of unsecured credit incase you want to purchase a car or house, lenders look at that to see how high risk of a loan you will be. Pay it off on time, in full, every time. If you can't do that, then you don't deserve one. It's a privilege, not a right. 1. Spend what you can afford to pay off |
