What was the most number of credit cards u ever had? |
For me it was 8. Long story short learned my lesson from that & will never do that again. I had three at one time. Learned my lesson LOL. I only use cash now! Had 7, now have 1. Mines was about that many also, and you are correct I have learned my lesson also. It's not how many, but what can you afford? You really don't need that many, and over a period of time of good/great payment history your credit limits will increase. So, with the proper use, and only a few cards you will have a good debt ratio, and your credit (FICO) score will stay high. I currently have 4. I can't imagine that I would get more than that. I have my longest one open, that I don't use anymore but it started my credit and I leave it open because I've only had credit for a couple of years. 5 I'm down to 1 now! |
