I ordered something off a website. my mom got mad and charged back credit card after it shipped. what happens?

on herbalhighs.com i ordered around $200 worth of things. they all shipped and right after they shipped the fraud department called my mom because of all the charges. My mom got very mad about all of the charges that i made so she called the credit card company and had them charge us back the money. Now herbalhighs.com has not actually received payment from me but the packages are on their way. what is going to happen now? am i going to have police at my door?

It is fraud. And by using your mom's credit card without authorization, you stole from her.
I would call the company and apologize, explain the situation and send back the package UNOPENED.
It's not the first time this has happened, but (hopefully) you won't ever do it gain.
I believe your mother would have to be the one to press charges UNLESS you keep the merchandise, in which case the bank (credit card people) will go after your mother...and that would be a really baaad thing...for you as well as her.

I went to the site and saw what it was. Besides stealing (family or not, stealing is wrong) I would say your mom needs to get you into counseling. These are like starter drugs...what are you heading for? I wish I knew your age.

You need to tell your mom what you did. So this can get straightend out. QUICK. And dont ever do that again. Never use your moms credit card without permissan again.

gosh, of course not! But the company might call you, or they will put the items on hold.

Keep the Sh@t and say someone else charged it. Then your mom gets the money and you get your stuff. If the company calls you guys asking about their stuff, tell them to shove it up their ring piece.

Let me make sure Im clear on the facts. You STOLE your moms credit card and ordered weed substitute off the net? One, Herbalhigh will intercept the stuff and bring it back. Or two, the stuff shows up and you or your mom send it back saying sorry or three the cops bust you for fraud if your mom will prosecute. If I were your mom (or dad since Im a guy) Im pretty sure youd be spending a night or two in lockup.

The company will most likely send a collection agency after your mom. That will be bad for her credit. And she'll kill you.

Not if you mark "Return to Sender" on the packages. If you do not, it is theft and the Company can file charges against you for theft.

Just return them and hopefully you learned that you can never use another persons credit card without their express permission otherwise you are committing a crime.

Go cut some grass and pay for it yourself. You can only soak your parents for so long before you begin to realize that it is time to grow up. Independant living is a freedom worth trying. you will enjoy nothing more than what you yourself have worked for. Don't worry about the police. Worry about yourself and where your headed.

Phone herbalhighs.com and tell them what happened. Inform them that as soon as the package arrives you will immediately send it back to them. Then apologize to them.

Then do that, put it in a new package without opening the package and send it back when it arrives at your expense. Be sure to enclose a letter apologizing (and copy that letter for your own records, and keep a copy of the receipt from the post office.

Haha, this is just great. Your mom is probably freaking out, thinking that it's salva or something. But what you did was wrong. You shouldn't steal from family.
