Do you mean to say "When I buy something online with my debit card, what numbers do I need?"

Your debit card is the same as a credit card to most companies, but you have to have funds available right then, or the sale will be declined. You'll simply give them the 16 digit character string on the front, and SOME transactions or banks may require the merchant to ask for the 3 digit security code on the back, as well.

It's identical in every way to buying online with a legitimate credit card.

The account number on the front of the card and sometimes they ask you for the 3 digit number on the back of the card.
