How to use an american express prepaid gift card?

i don't know how to use one. i am 14 and my dad gave me 4 of them with 50 dollars on each for Christmas and i don't know how to use them! PLEAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSEEEEEE HELLLPPPP MEEEE!!!!

1. Go to the store.
2. Find something you like.
3. Pick it up
4. Walk to the register.
5. Hand them the card.
6. Sign receipt
7. Take bag off counter
8. Say "Thank you. have a great day"
9. Turn around
10. Go home. (or to the next store)

Do you have a government ID? If so, then go shopping! Just hand them the card and sign where they tell you to. If not, you may have difficulty using the card without a government ID. Then you will have to wait until you are 18 years old.

You usually have to register them online. Then you use them just like any other gift card except you are not limited to a certain store.
