Can anyone tell me the best way to fix my credit?

Pay all of your bills on time.

Firstly, do NOT borrow any more money! Secondly, pay off what you owe! Making ALL of your payments on time is the best way to fix your credit. It may take some time for some bad items to drop off of your credit report if you just wait. However, you can have bad items removed from your credit report IF you have paid the account in full. After the account has been paid in full, get a copy of your credit report and dispute any bad item that HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL! Challenge that/those items that have been paid in full, most creditors wont invest the time or money to keep a bad item on someones credit file after the account is paid. It isn't economically feasible for them to answer challenges to items that they no longer have a financial interest in. Good luck!

Actually get in contact with the companies that you have debts with in the first place and ask them for a prolonged period of time to pay & explain the situation, additionally, pay a small amount per week, as much as you can, so they know that you're dedicated to paying it.

My debt is 7000$
2 phone companies
& a maxed out credit card.
I'm getting there though.
