Does money disappeared from bank immediately show up on paypal account?

I've just applied funds transfer to my paypal account from my bank a few days ago, and until today i just saw the that money is gone on my online bank statement. But when i checked my paypal the money didn't show up. So i want to know if i have to wait for a few hours for it to show up or if there's something wrong?

I mean, are they happening simultaneously?

There is a good chance you will have to wait a day or so. These are called Automated Clearing House transactions or ACH. The banks usually receive a file of the withdrawals from another institution, in this case PayPal. They run the file and either withdraw the money or make a notation that there was insufficient funds. They send the new file to PayPal who runs it the next day (or later) and deposits the money or deals with the non payment.

It is usually not a real time transaction but one that occurs in batch mode where they run them all at once.
