Do fireman get paid a lot?

do they get paid a lot of money or a little or a decent amount

Many firemen are volunteer. But the ones who get paid generally get paid reasonably well, but they do a hard and dangerous job to earn their money.

Some are volunteers, so they don't get paid, but the ones that are hired are paid a decent amount because of the dangers the job has.

for people that risk their lives to save people everyday they get a HORRIBLE pay! :(

Its the greatest job in the world if you are looking into its a great job....I was dissappointed in myself for not getting called by the FDNY but that is the way the cookie crumbles I am a voulenteer and I do fire prevetion work.....You wont make millions but you will do ok
