What are the advantages and disadvantages of being paid salary weekly, biweekly and monthly?

Weekly would be best if your bills are spread out.
Bimonthly if you know how to save money and which paycheck to use to pay what bills.
Monthly is hard. You have to really commit to a budget and schedule bill payments carefully if you are only getting one paycheck a month.

Taxes, FICA, benefits, etc. shouldn't matter with the option you pick.

I personally like my bimonthly check. I know which bills are going to paid with which check and I would probably be really disappointed if I got a weekly check and saw how little I made in a week compared to two.

Weekly is depressing, lol, depending on what kind of job you have, also makes it a smidgen harder to save (at least for me). When you have a small amount of money in your hands, it seems a small thing to spend it. Biweekly is good, so long as you're not a "gotta have it today" spender, you're money should last you through out both weeks (and a little beyond if you're a good planner) and if it's not, that's a good gauge to tell you to slow the out exspenses. Monthly.. never had one. 8). Of course, I'm only 23, so don't take my experiences too seriously.
