The travel industry tends to suck a person in and never spit them back out. They just suck every last happy feeling out of a person. I worked for Alamo for a few years. Not as a manager though, just sales. I can tell you I've never in my life seen more displeased customers and employees. Though management could have been better, the primary reason it was so awful was because of the industry itself. It is hard, and anyone who is working it and says otherwise is only lying to his or herself to make them feel better about the hard job they are "stuck" in. I'm not trying to be mean or ugly either. If you get the position, you will learn what I mean within a month.

Criers, druggies, drunks, yellers, threats, local competitor disputes (Yes, other competitors bothering your business day! WTF?!), BBB complaint threats,
