What the crap HAPPENED today in CIncinnati that 2 firemen had to DIE?

what the crap happened today!??
in Cinci? two firemen lost their lives...and no one was even in the house
why did she (the chief) feel it was so urgent to go in at 6am when neighbors TOLD them no one was there!?? i dont understand it.....what happened!??

According to what I read--they thought 2 more might be in there anyway--they fell through the floor--I know for most of the fire departments in Ohio it is standard op to go inside and check anyway no matter who tells them no one is in there. In some cases, they will take the word of a family member who hasn't been in the house--and they usually have to have more than one person verifying that no one else is in there or that the house has been empty--it depends on the circumstances, who is involved and just how upset the family is or whoever--most times the area cops know who they can rely on
