Tutor jobs! ten points easy? |
i'm good at math so i was was wondering how i can get a tutor job somewhere in my area tutoring people. im still in high school how does that work? Your local library should also be a good networking option. Some may actually keep a list of local tutors. Others may have contact lists that you can use. For example, at Arlington Heights we don't keep a tutors list, but our Kids' World Dept. does have a list of the person at each local school or district who handles tutor referrals. Why don't you advertise locally on craigslist or call an elementary school nearby. Some school districts have a website that tutors can advertise or even a tutor pool that you can apply to. I've seen people post their tutoring availability on grocery store bulletin boards. Most grocery stores have them -- here in Chicago, they have them at Jewels & Dominick's. Good luck! |
